The Southern Experience Band is a North Carolina based Kick Ass Country Rock band. Their eclectic tastes and desire to be challenged have propelled them to create a fresh and energetic musical experience. The stories told are based on real observations of life in the south. The bands live performances are fun and engaging. The icing on the performance cake is very tight four part harmonies. With an almost 100% call back rate the band has been proven to be an Experience that people want to see again.

Southern Experience Band has performed from Columbia, SC to Los Angeles, Ca. Gigs have included The Art of Sound Music Festival in Shelby, NC, The Fabulous 4th Festival in Columbus NC, The Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC., Busby's East in LA, and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritavile in Nashville. They have also played for numerous clubs and private parties including Frat Parties and for the Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club's annual gathering.

Their self penned song, "Southern Experience" expresses the band's view on what it means to be southern and their audience interactive song, ''Pennies In A Mason Jar", was written from an actual experience that allows one to realize that we can be successful one minute and literally lose everything the next........to live off of those "Pennies In A Mason Jar". Due to these stressful economic times that we live in, we need to evaluate what is important and rely on a more simple way of life.....A way of life where family, community, and hard work stands for something.

"The Southern Experience Band" has been supportive in several charitable organizations. Their video for the song "Fight The Fight" was featured on the Outdoor Channel, "Huntin' The World Southern Style", as a tribute to our military. For several years, the band has performed for the Wounded Warrior Project. "The Southern Experience Band" has actively supported the "Make A Wish Foundation" by performing at fund raising events and through donations. The band is honored to have been named The Charlotte Music Awards 2013 Country Music Band of the Year for the Carolinas.

The band has just released it's third album titled "Southern Experience". This is their first release with Southern Rock Uprising Records. A song from this album has also just been selected for placement in the movie "Worldly Possessions" which is to be released late summer 2014. ---gigmasters.com
