Patty Ryan's "love is the name of the game" is a very solid record that draws comparison to C.C. Catch in its italo disco style format and professional pop sensibility. The majority of the songs here could be singles, especially "don't tell me lies" which is my favorite song here and with its dark and devilish lyrics - it's a real guilty pleasure. That's pop music folks - compulsive and addictive. The germans really had some power with these acts like C.C. Catch and Modern Talking, not to mention Alphaville and Silent Circle. --- retard123, rateyourmusic.com
