Thomas Anders & Dieter Bohlen finally reunite on essentially a greatest hits album that has turned into a massive European smash.Although a few new tracks have been included, it is the updating of previous hits with harder beats and crisper edges that is catching the ears of old and new fans. "You're My HeartYou're My Soul 98" is the best track here, updated with a conventional but catchy rap that creates the same hi-nrg sound of Real McCoy, etc. "Brother Louie 98" falls in the same vein but you'll need to purchase the maxi-single CDs on both singles to hear the most energized rap-fused versions.The new songs are somewhat less inspiring, sounding a bit like left-over tracks that never made it onto their old albums. But it's still a fun comeback disc and it's great to have them back together. It's somewhat unexpected hit status is also paving the way for a hi-nrg dance music genre resurgence and offering a means for other artists like Fancy and Bad Boys Blue (both of whom have new comeback hits discs out...and if you love Modern Talking, you surely love these guys as well) to return to the spotlight. ---amazon.com

Album, którego specjalnie przedstawiać chyba nie trzeba - wielki powrót Modern Talking na rynek muzyczny nastąpił przy pomocy tej właśnie płyty. Stare hity w nowych wersjach, cztery nowe nagrania i mix z największymi przebojami. Spośród starych utworów najciekawiej zremiksowano chyba "Angie's Heart" (nowa, całkowicie odmienna od tej znanej z lat 80-tych aranżacja). Muszę jednak przyznać, że w większości wypadków stare wersje brzmiały lepiej, nowe zrobione są prawie tak samo - do starej piosenki dodano szybszy i mocniejszy podkład. Wyjątkami są wymieniona już przeze mnie "Angie's Heart" oraz ballady - "Lady Lai" i "Give Me Peace On Earth". Najlepszą premierą jest "Anything Is Possible" - dynamiczny utwór, brakuje w nim jedynie charakterystycznych chórków. Ciekawie ma się też sprawa "We Take The Chance". Utwór bardzo (nawet za bardzo) przypomina "Final Countdown" grupy Europe... Pozostałe dwie premiery to piosenki spokojne, nie wybijające się ponad przeciętność. Warto zwrócić uwagę na medley kończący album - 5 największych hitów zmixowanych ze sobą w bardzo udany sposób! ---moderntalking.pl
