Thanks to the trophy « Jazz à Vienne/Rezzo Focal », the Imperial Quartet hasrecorded its second album in January 2013 at the Flon Studio in Lausanne(Switzerland). Slim Fat is an express trip through the moderns folks music. It is a urban vision ofthe popular music, where the bubbling energy of Le Cube is living with big spaces ofBees of Universe. The heavy and thick grooves of Country Jo and D&G is based onthe atypical marriage of electric bass/bass sax/baritone sax. There is also lyricalmoments with Tupac Amaru and Dojo.
